What you'll need

  • Transcripts

WCU nursing does not require a pre-admission exam or interview. First-year applicants need a standard 16-unit high school curriculum (biology including A&P, chemistry and psychology recommended) and enter in fall; progression to NSG/NSL 212 requires BIO 100, CHE 107, CRL 107, BIO 259 and BIO 269 with a 2.75 composite GPA. Internal transfer applicants submit transcripts, essay responses and one WCU faculty reference, typically by November 1, for spring or fall entry.

Checked Oct 2026 on the school's site. Requirements change each cycle, so confirm before you apply.
