Direct admission to the nursing major with the university application (apply.usj.edu, rolling admission, no secondary application): unweighted GPA 3.0 or higher and B- or better in Algebra II, Biology, Chemistry, English and Geometry/Trigonometry; applicants below these thresholds may still be considered on curriculum strength. SAT optional, letters of reference optional. NCLEX pass rate for the traditional BSN class of 2025 was 81%; progression requires B- or higher in all nursing and science courses.
